KRISTIN GARTNER

From a young age, Kristin has been a prolific writer of poetry and stories, always seeking magic in the mundane and sparks of light in darkness. She draws deeply from her personal experiences with trauma, as well as her academic background in Human Communications and Organizational Psychology, allowing her to approach challenging subjects—such as healing, resilience, and self-discovery—with a vulnerability that resonates with readers.

Kristin’s works have appeared in local magazines and anthologies, and she is currently working on a new collection exploring what it means to fall and get back up. She resides in Portland, Oregon, with their supportive husband and energetic young son. Kristin often reflects on how readers have embraced her openness, sharing their own stories and creating a sense of community around her writing.

Thank you for your interest in Kristin’s work. She warmly invites you to explore her published pieces and join her on this ongoing journey of storytelling and connection.
