From a young age Kristin has been a prolific writer of poetry and stories.  She constantly seeks magic in the mundane and light in the darkness.  Drawing upon her personal experiences with trauma, as well as her background in Human Communications and Organizational Psychology, Kristin unapologetically writes about tough topics with a vulnerability that is relatable to readers.  Her haunting works have won several poetry contests and have also appeared in local magazines and anthologies. 

Kristin currently resides in Portland, Oregon with her husband and young son.
